Well we think its weird that the Indian culture doesn't eat meat and they worship cats and weird stuff like that, so I know they think we are horrible aliens eating their gods. Other countries might think that eating a big stuffed bird on Thanksgiving and/or Christmas is weird. Because even I think it is a bit creepy. Poor little helpless turkey!! Also the Mexican culture thinks that white people are weird because we don't frickin eat, intestines, cow brain, cow tongue, and cow stomach! All of my family on my dads side give me the worst crusties when I tell them I refuse to eat unnormal morbid crap like cow head! I think our country is rather normal compared to most countries so I don't even care if they think our culture is weird!!!

April 21 late
Sometimes advice is good, but sometimes it is unnecessary and annoying. I have a couple friends that I can go to, to talk about my problems, and get advice from. When I go to somebody to talk about my relationship, I don't like pity. I don't want somebody to tell me their sorry and they feel sorry for me. I don't want somebody that isn't in a relationship to give me advice about my boyfriend and how horrible he is and what I should do about the problems we are having. I hate when somebody that has no relationship background tries to give me advice. There are certain circumstances when I want advice from somebody with no relationship background, but not many. Sometimes I just want somebody to listen and not talk.

“Seriousness”&”Earnestness”
In all reality there comes a point in time where “seriousness” is completely necessary, like your job for instance. When your boss is carrying 6 hot plates, to a table and slips on the freshly mopped floor, you should not laugh, seriousness is completely necessary. Seriousness means no funny business, and NO jokes, seriousness means being stern, thoughtful, and having importance, as defined in Marriam-Webster Dictionary.
Even though the thought of unfaithfulness is no laughing matter, in the book, The Importance of Being Earnest, two characters face a serious situation that is funny to the readers, but not so funny to the characters in the book, Gwendolen and Cecily. “...Of course you are quite, quite sure that it is not Mr. Earnest Worthing who is your guardian...Cecily: Quite sure. (A pause). In fact I am going to be his...Gwendolen: I beg your pardon” (Wilde 72)? Gwendolen and Cecily are thinking they are getting played by their dearest Earnest, and begin to get jealous of each other, and start to bicker a little bit. They both get defensive and very serious. Little do they know there is no Earnest! All the tension and all the seriousness between the girls is going on for nothing. Even though we see it as funny from our point of view, Gwendolen and Cecily are in distress.
The Importance of Being Earnest also has earnestness throughout the book. Earnestness is very similar to seriousness. Earnestness defined in Collins English Dictionary states, honesty, serious intention, purpose, or effort. While seriousness is showing or acting with deep thought. When Algernon is faced with Cecily only wanting to marry somebody with the name of Earnest, he is put in a tough spot. He has to decide whether he will just go with the flow or come out and tell her that he isn’t really Earnest. This is also extremely funny for the readers, but stressful and a very serious for the characters that are actually faced with in reality. “Gwendolen:...The gentleman who is now embracing you is my cousin, Mr. Algernon Moncrieff”(Wilde 76). After his name is revealed and the truth comes out, it is up to Algernon to be earnest and confess the truths.
Being earnest and knowing when to be serious are two major important traits to have. Earnestness is an admirable trait because there are certain times where being serious, mature, and honest are important. Talking to an intelligent person that makes an effort to keep conversation makes that person much more likeable and interesting. Without earnestness, people have no drive to go far in life, and make little, to no effort at all to achieve goals. Even though having earnestness is great, it may not always be necessary. Yes always make an effort, and yes always be honest, but have some fun, live and learn. Just because you are having a good time doesn’t mean you aren't still being an earnest person.

If I was struggling financially my whole life and just won a million dollars, would I give any to charity? Hmm...the person I am now definitely would, but I'm sure I would be a different person if I was struggling my whole life and finally had money to do my own thing. I truly believe that money brings happiness to a lot of people, and that is very bad. People become very greedy and selfish when it comes to money. So if I all of a sudden became insanely wealthy I have a feeling that I wouldn't feel the same way I do now. I have never been rich, but also have never been poor nor has my parents. I have worked for my money since the age of 12 and appreciate every bit of my hard earned money. I also have seen a lot of my family struggle financially and have also wanted to help out families in need. So the person I am now most definitely would!!

Late April 7
If a loved one or a family member ever got killed in a car accident due to texting and driving, it would definitely stop me from ever texting and driving!! I would be so much more cautious with the people around me and pay more attention to oncoming traffic. I would be so upset if it ever happened to my family, it would make me not want to do it to anyone else's family! I think people that text and drive are extremely selfish and careless. To put yourself and anyone else in a situation like that is just pure carelessness and selfishness.
