The advice I would give to a freshman, that is most important would definitely be,to work your very hardest, and pay attention in class, because believe it or not you are going to use this stuff in your everyday life, even just being a parent. I have maintained a high GPA by working hard and wanting to succeed. I have already used a lot of the stuff I told myself I wasn't going to need, and I haven't even graduated yet!
Another big thing about high school is having respect. You will receive what you deserve.
Being social is a big help in getting through a long, boring, stressful day of school. If you don't laugh and have a little fun with your friends, you will not enjoy your time as a young adult. Be involved and enjoy being young, because you can't take anything back, that you know you will regret later. Participate in as many extra curricular activities that you enjoy. They will pass the school year by a lot faster!
GET ALONG WITH EVERYBODY!!! Even your teachers. School is a lot easier when you are liked rather than just having one friend that your trying to impress, and spending all your time in the principle's office.
Be mature, do your work, make friends, have fun, and be grateful for your education!

Feb.25 - Mar.3
If I had a black box, and inside was my life, it would probably contain my cell phone, because that is basically my whole life. I always have it with me and I feel naked without it! My second thing would probably be my laptop, because that's how I type these wonderful weekly blogs!(: It is very convenient to have a computer to type where ever you feel like typing! Most importantly, I would have my family and friends, because I couldn't live without them. They guide me through all of my hard times, and are always there for the good times. My mom pushes me to do my best, my dad is a little more understanding when I need him to be, and my sister is always there when I need her. She talks me through things and gives me advice because shes been through a lot and knows what its like. All of my friends are always there to support me through every thing and are always making new memories with me.
